The Director of the Institute of Philosophy, v.v.i. announces a selection procedure for post of 50% half-time researcher.
Required qualifications
The required qualification is a third degree of higher education - academic degree PhD or its equivalent in philosophy and the thematic focus of the applicant on the issue of normativity, its sources, types of functions in society. A broad overview of ethics, social philosophy, agency theory and political philosophy with a focus on human rights, justice and freedom is required. Knowledge of English or another world language is required. The ability to participate actively in the Department's projects and publications is also expected.
List of documents to be submitted
- CV in Europass format,
- officially verified document of completion of second-level university studies in the required field,
- documents on previous practice,
- list of publishing activities,
- list of citations (without auto-citations and semi-auto-citations),
- list of grant projects solved so far,
- a criminal record extract not older than three months.
In the case of a foreigner, a certificate of good repute similar to the extract from the criminal record issued by the competent authority of the State of his/her permanent residence or by the authority of the State where he/she is habitually resident, not older than three months, together with an officially certified translation thereof; in the case of a document issued in the Czech language, an officially certified translation shall not be required.

Wage conditions are governed by Act No. 553/2003 Coll. on remuneration of certain employees in the performance of public work and on amendment and supplementation of certain acts
