Salary grade:

8, (degree according to professional experience) functional salary is determined in accordance with Act no. 553/203. Z. z. on the remuneration of certain employees for the performance of work in the public interest and on the amendment of certain laws as amended.

Main roles:

Scientific research activity in the field of environmental and political philosophy

The activities will be focused mainly on:

• Cooperation and communication with the research team of scientific projects
• Cooperation on the preparation and solution of scientific projects
• Cooperation on the preparation of analyses and solutions to problems connected with the subject of research
• Publication of the results of scientific research in scientific, primarily indexed journals published in Slovakia and abroad and in monographs published in Slovakia by foreign publishers
• Presenting the results of own research at scientific events in Slovakia and abroad
• Cooperation in the preparation, organization and implementation of scientific events in Slovakia and abroad
• Expert, opponent, assessment and review activities in their scientific field and specialization
• Training activity in their scientific field and specialization
• Other duties of the employee in accordance with the relevant legal standards, internal regulations of the SAS and IP of the SAS, v.v.i.

Requirements:

• Third-level university education – PhD academic title in philosophy (history of philosophy; aesthetics; ethics; logic and methodology of science; systematic philosophy)
• Proven work at a foreign university and/or research institution for more than two years
• Expertise in environmental and political philosophy
• Proven ability to publish scholarly texts in English
• Proven ability to solve and administer domestic and foreign projects
